District Governor,  Duce Minor

It was a privilege and a pleasure to have our district governor with us on Wednesday.

The resounding theme of his presentation, was to encourage all Rotarians to “go out on a limb, that is where we will find good fruit.”

As Rotarians our world is only as small as we make it.  We have opportunities every day to engage and change lives.  From hosting exchange students, digging wells in other parts of the world, wheelchair trips to Mexico, building schools in Africa or giving children in our own backyard a hand up.

Every weekend we have an opportunity to sell coins in support of the children in our community.  With the London Bridge Festivities and the Balloon Festival coming we will raise money for different charities and organizations that are changing lives and making a difference. In March we will be given an opportunity to rescue children from human trafficking.  Alone we can only do a little but together we can change the world one life at a time.
