May 27 Meeting Highlights

Gary Gray presented three District Awards which were presented at the recent District Conference: Presidential Citation, Ethics Initiative, and Sex-Trafficking Awareness.

Past President and visiting Rotarian Keven Shepardson was welcomed to the meeting. He shared his recent health challenges. LBR club members were enthusiastic in their support of his miraculous comeback!

Visiting Rotarian, Cameron Moses, drew the winning tickets for the weekly drawing, and Kevin Shepardson tried to draw with winning marble from the "Power Ball" bag, but was declared a "LOSER!" President, Lisa VanElla presented a check to Lisa Turner to support the annual "Cooking for Cancer" event, which Lisa T coordinates each year in memory of Heidi Edwards, who started the event.
