Mark Reitersdorf, MCC Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center at MCC was the topic of Mark Reitersdorf's presentation at the July 10 meeting.  The center is part of a state-wide network, which provides free business counselling. including business plan assistance, market feasibility research, and marketing strategy development.  They offer workshops and training programs, most of which are free.  Business owners can learn how to do their own cash flow analysis, and the center will help them identify sources of capital as well as provide SBA loan assistance.  7/10 business owners seeking their help have poor credit  They provide education on how they can improve their credit.  Two Lake Havasu businesses have been recognized with statewide "Success Awards" for their marked improvement.  The center can help businesses which are new, struggling, or need to expand.
