In tracking the coin sales against sales in 2015, the trial of running only one 3-hour shift each weekend day is running behind 2015 sales.  To date in 2015, weekly sales totaled $4,244.  To date this year, sales have totaled $3,596.  With the coin shack being open only 75% of the time it was open in 2015, sales to date are running nearly 85%.

The goal is to have sales equal to or better than the prior year if we want the trial to become our standard method of scheduling coin shifts.  We have only met that goal three of the nine weekends we have sold coins so far this year.  Maybe the new awning is what made the difference!
