Community Service

Community Service is the third Avenue of Service, comprising varied efforts that members make, sometimes in conjunction with others, to improve the quality of life of those who live within this community.  In the London Bridge Rotary, in 2013-14, these activities will be co-chaired by Directors Doug Hardy and Ed Weber.  The scope of their work will include:

• Adopt-A-Family - annual project to enable economically challenged families, which are selected through a screening process, enjoy a memorable holiday season, and and enable a better to start in the New Year.
• Coordination of Budgeted Giving
• Relay recommendations of the Funding Committee, chaired by Suzanne Ballard, to the Board of Directors
• Homeless Youth Project Committee:  Lisa Fuhrman, Roger Johnson and Rick Stephens
